I’ve owned the Canon SX30is for nigh two weeks now. It replaces a Panasonic FZ35. I get necessitated almost 500 pictures with the camera to date. Compared to the Panasonic the image quality under virtually conditions is slenderly improved. Under low light weather the Panasonic is noticeably superior. Because the picture stabilization works thus well I can commonly cap the ISO laying at 400 and still stimulate blur loose shots. Under check to bright conditions I can pass delay the camera at full zoom (35x). The viewfinder is identical usable and I may adjust it therefore that I don’t get8 to exist wearing my glasses. I observe I utilization the see finder more than the LCD. I haven’t shot any video with it yet. I love being able to adjust the ISO posing without having to navigate through the menu. In my estimation this is the best point-and-shoot available, and I’m extremely happy with the product. I am utilising an eye-fi SD card which believably slows it done a little, but it’s Canon SX30IS still acceptably fast for my needs.
