I have a fraternal twin sister, Kirsten, who lives in San Diego.
I have a kitty named Apollo. I looooove my kitty.
I graduated from the University of Chicago in June.
I am 23 years old (as of August 18th).
I am somewhat antisocial and painfully shy but I really do like people.
But I probably like animals more than people.
Any minute now, my ship is coming in. I'll keep checking the horizon, and I'll check my machine. There's sure to be that call. It's gonna happen soon, soon, oh so very soon - it's just that times are lean. What I'm trying to say is: I'm waiting for my real life to begin (credit Mr. Colin Hay).
Once, when I was a little kid, I overheard my mom remark to my dad, "In a few days, we'll eat her." Terrified, I scampered into the living room and confronted her. She claimed she'd actually said, "She's a very good reader." I don't know what I was thinking I'd accomplish - it wasn't as if she'd ever admit what she said. But I must have done something right because my parents haven't eaten me to this day. Thank god!
